By centering conversations on respect, inclusion and intentional community building, Anthony guides individuals or groups through informal resolution of conflict and crisis management. Anthony is passionate about facilitating authentic communication in order to help individuals reach communal resolutions to challenging disputes.

Anthony’s formal education includes:

Mediation Certification
Anthony serves as MC3’s Inaugural Director and is a MC3-Certified Mediator:
"MC3 Certification is provided to mediators who possess extensive mediation specific training and practical mediation experience. They must also have a commitment to comply with well-established ethical standards and a familiarity with basic litigation processes and procedures. Finally, MC3-Certified Mediators are committed to ongoing and continuous professional activity and development.

Additional Information
Selected facilitation training, development, community, and volunteer experience include: Mediator & Trainer for the National Conflict Resolution Center and Educational Solutions 4 Change; graduate of the Social Justice Training Institute; completed training by the Skidmore College Project on Restorative Justice; member of three regional conference planning committees for NASPA (Student Affairs in Higher Education); certificate from the UCSD Supervisory Laboratory. Volunteer roles with national, regional and campus organizations include most recently as Co-Chair of the Chancellor’s Advisory Council on Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Issues at UCSD – as well as on the Annual Conference Planning Committee for the Southern California Mediation Association.
Anthony has over 17 years of experience in higher education and student affairs at such institutions as UC San Diego, San Diego State University, Columbia University, Fordham University, and UC Santa Barbara. His work specializes in student conflict resolution, educational programming, DEI education, crisis management, overseeing assessment initiatives, organizational administration, and mentorship.
